International open kyokushinkan karate tournament "NATIONS CUP"Opening!

...On March 9, in Moscow, at the Irina Viner Palace in Luzhniki, the opening ceremony of the International Kyokushinkan Competition - Nations Cup took place.

The organizers warmly welcomed the representatives of 26 countries of the world and 41 regions of Russia. The anthem was sung by singer and songwriter Yulia Parshuta. The tournament organizers and guests of honor made welcoming speeches.

Igor Sidorkevich, Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, said:

“We welcome all guests of the Kyokushinkan holiday in our capital - Moscow! I express my gratitude to the organizers for preparing this wonderful event. The tournament gathered a huge number of participants. My special gratitude to the organizers for giving the guys an opportunity to demonstrate their strength, to show the results of hard training and to spend time in the heart of Russia - Moscow. Let each participant prove himself, and the winner will be the strongest!”

Vyacheslav Dukhin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, read out the welcoming speech of Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region:

“I welcome you at these prestigious international competitions!

Kyokushinkai is not just a sport. It is a philosophy that builds character, develops strength of mind, perseverance and courage, teaches to overcome difficulties. I am sure that these qualities, which were laid in your young years, will stay with you forever.

“Cup of Nations” gives an opportunity to unite people of different nationalities and cultures. Its organizers and participants make an important contribution to the promotion of an active and healthy lifestyle. Your energy and desire to win inspire not only you, but also those around you.

Let these competitions become for you not only an arena for displaying your sports skills, but also a place of friendly communication. As it was noted by the Deputy Chairman of “Ivolga” JVP, the head of the branch “Industry, Technology and Innovation. Small and medium business. Sport” Artem Petrukhin:

“At all times sport has been an unconditional unifying force. And today we see a serious confirmation of it. Representatives of 26 countries will take to the tatami today. And all this is happening here, on our land, in our beloved country of Russia. I hope to see today a triumph of sport, the beauty of martial arts and true sports friendship. Good luck, guys!”.

Honored Master of Sports, Olympic champion Mansur Isayev addressed the guests and participants of the tournament:

“I am happy to welcome athletes and fans to the Nations Cup! And first of all I want to say a huge thank you to those who organized this holiday today. And to you, athletes, I want to wish you to always set high goals and confidently go to your dreams. And do not stop on the way, go only forward!”

By tradition, the head and head coach of the Podolsk Dojo Club, Coach Maxim Aborin, opened the competition:

“I am glad to welcome everyone to our large-scale event. I want to thank Ivolga Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for their help in organizing the tournament. I want to thank the Kyokushin-kan Karate-do Federation of Russia, which participated in the organization of the event. I wish each of you to show all your capabilities, all the results of training and become the best version of yourself. I wish the judges objective judging. Athletes in formation amicably responded, “Oss!” And the tournament was declared officially open!

Traditionally, prizes for the guys from the tournament partners were raffled off: phones, watches, headphones. The main prize was won - iPad lucky number 326! - Timofey from Moscow!

The organizer of the event is the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs “Ivolga” and Kyokushinkan Karate Club “Podolsk-Dojo”.

International competitions of the Cup of Nations are held in the status of official and are included in the unified calendar plan of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Moscow region.

The competition is organized within the framework of the project of SPP “Ivolga” - “UNION SPORT DEVELOPMENT”. The aim of the project is to unite people of different nationalities and cultures on the basis of the idea of sport, to create an opportunity for meetings and exchange of experience, demonstration of healthy lifestyle, popularization of sports as one of the means of achieving physical and spiritual perfection of a person.
