Participants of the «Nations Cup» will compete at the International Karate Tournament in Japan

On November 22-23, 2025, in Tokyo at the National Olympic Stadium Yoyogi, where the World Championship and World Championship for Kyokushinkan Karate will take place. Russia will be represented on the world tatami by students of the «Podolsk-Dojo» club — participants of the International Tournament «Nations Cup», organized by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs «Ivovlga».

The club's students earned their place at the world tournament based on the results of Russian championships, where they demonstrated high athletic performance. In Japan, athletes aged 12 to 17 — participants of the World Championship — will compete, as well as adult fighters over 18, who will compete in the World Championship. Daily training sessions are held under the guidance of the head of the Podolsk-Dojo club and co-organizer of the International Kyokushin-Kan Karate Tournament «Nations Cup» Maxim Aborin, as well as a team of experienced club coaches.

«For most athletes, these are not their first international competitions, so the preparation for the tournament is conducted at a high level. For us, this is not just a sporting event. It is a test of moral spirit, willpower, and character. We are confidently moving toward our goal, training hard, and focused solely on victory», — said Maxim Aborin.

The participation of athletes became possible thanks to the sponsorship support of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs «Ivolga» — the organizer of the International Kyokushinkan Karate Tournament «Nations Cup». The Union traditionally promotes the development of sports, youth initiatives, and the training of the region's strongest athletes. The official delegation accompanying the Russian karate athletes will include the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs «Ivolga», partner of the «Construction Alliance» Holding — Artem Petrukhin. He will participate in the championship events and meet with representatives of the international sports community.

«It is especially gratifying to see that participants of the International «Nations Cup» tournament are now reaching the world level and representing Russia in Japan. This confirms that our tournament has truly become an important platform for the development of martial arts and the preparation of the country's top athletes», noted Artem Petrukhin.

Athletes from more than 40 countries will participate in the 2025 World Championship and Championship. The tournament traditionally gathers the strongest representatives of Kyokushinkan schools from around the world and is considered one of the most prestigious events in the martial arts world.

The «Podolsk-Dojo» club is a leading Kyokushinkan karate school in the Moscow region. The club’s students regularly become winners and prize-winners in Russian and international tournaments and participate in regional sports and patriotic projects.
